Resize an image in pixels
To resize an image in pixels, drop it in the box, type the width (or the height), and the other side follows so nothing is stretched. The new size is shown before you download. It runs in your browser, so the picture is never uploaded.

Make it smaller or bigger?
Making a picture smaller keeps it sharp. Making it much bigger cannot add detail that was never there, so it looks soft. If you need to enlarge, keep it within about 150% of the original.
If the form also gives a file size
Many forms ask for pixels and a file size together, such as 200 × 230 px under 50 KB. Resize here first, then bring the size down with the compressor, or use the exam page that does both in one step.
Questions people ask
How do I resize an image to an exact pixel size?

Leave 'Keep the picture's shape' ticked. Only one side needs typing.
