UPSC photo and signature size

Photo: 20–200 KB at 550×550 px. Signature: 20–100 KB at 550×550 px. Open the UPSC kit in Resize Baba to resize every file to these limits at once. It runs in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.

How it works

  1. Open the UPSC kit.
  2. Drop each file into its slot: the kit knows the size for each one.
  3. Download them one by one, or all together as a ZIP.

Why uploads get rejected

Portals check the file size window, the pixel size and the format. A file that is too small is rejected just like one that is too large. Resize Baba lands inside the full window and reads the finished file back to prove it.

A note on these sizes

Guides list 20–200 KB for the photo and 20–100 KB for the signature, so those limits are used. Pixels vary between sources (350–500 px is reported for the signature). If yours differs, use Custom size.

Photo tips

  • Recent colour photo, face centred, plain light background.
  • Sign with a dark pen on white paper, then photograph or scan it flat and crop tight.
  • Save as JPG. Rename the files only if the notice asks you to.
